Funciones
Serves as the principal authority and technical advisor on all facility operations, maintenance, repair, and minor construction portfolio of U.S. government-owned, short term, and long term leased properties. Manages and supervises the operation and maintenance program for all facilities to include developing budgets, producing assessment report and contract scopes of work for repair, improvement, or renovation projects.
Requisitos
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, facility management, or another engineering field. EXPERIENCE: At least five years of experience within facilities management (including four years in building maintenance trades) and at least two years of experience as facilities manager JOB KNOWLEDGE: Thorough professional knowledge of the field of Facility Management. Good knowledge of host country building codes. A good knowledge of preparing and managing budgets, and documented knowledge of project management. LANGUAGE: Fluent level of English speaking/reading/writing. Fluent level of Spanish speaking/reading/writing. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to research, interpret and apply a variety of building regulations and policies. Ability to maintain a valid, current driver's license for the class of vehicles assigned or authorized to drive. Skills in using various software programs and applications is required. Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook programs, and similar software. Ability to provide excellent customer service and to be able to effectively communicate with individuals of all ranks. Ability to multi-task and to manage personnel. Must be able to work independently including setting priority for self and subordinate staff. Ability to apply fluent English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting skills; to proofread and submit documents without error; draft, staff, and finalize correspondence utilizing clear writing style. Ability to communicate easily with various employees. Ability to work in a range of environments (inside/out/cold/hot/rainy/dusty/loud and from heights (ladder, scaffold, roofs)).
